A Spanish Research Organization is working in new compounds and innovative therapies for unmet medical needs. This Foundation focuses its research activities on two different areas: the discovery of new leads from microbial natural products in top priority therapeutic areas; the evaluation of potential cardiovascular liabilities and adverse drug metabolism effects of drug candidates in its high throughput ADME/TOX screening platform.
The Foundation offers:
-ADME/Safety services (cardiotoxicity, neurotoxicity, drug-drug interaction, cytotoxicity) to support new lead development.
- HTS screening and drug discovery services from microbial natural products
- Isolation and analytical chemistry services
Primary therapeutic areas: Infectious and Parasitic diseases, Cancer, Neurodegeneration, Rare diseases.
Fundación Medina wishes to establish scientific collaborations or research contracts with academic research groups, biotech and pharmaceutical companies interested in drug discovery from microbial natural products.
Fundación Medina offer as CRO includes:
